Amir Ravandoust

Amir Ravandoust is a Managing Director at Insight Partners, a global software investor with over $90B in assets under management across early-, growth-, and late-stage technology companies. He invests in and works with software businesses on scaling operations, driving profitability, and building enduring global companies. Over the past two years, Amir has partnered with Insight portfolio companies, regional startup hubs and university accelerators, and commercial partners to support the scaling and international expansion of local and global technology companies across the broader Middle East.Amir has held multiple operating roles including CEO, CFO, and COO, and has served on several boards across analytics and data platforms, revenue technologies, and government technologies. Across these roles, he focuses on helping category-leading software companies accelerate growth, expand internationally, and strengthen operational execution. Prior to joining software private equity, Amir spent seven years at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working across multiple geographies and industries.Over the course of his career, Amir has worked extensively across the Gulf, Europe, and Africa, advising and partnering with organizations across technology, telecom, energy, and government sectors, including significant work in Saudi Arabia.
