Al Amin Idris is the Founder and Group CEO of Interface Africa, a solar financing platform expanding energy access in underserved markets. He has built a nationwide distribution and payment infrastructure that has mapped over 100,000 households, deployed 1,000+ community agents, and enabled clean energy access for more than 60,000 homes and businesses, unlocking over $8M in financing.Al Amin has represented Nigeria in global climate and innovation dialogues, including participation in COP climate conferences, where he has contributed to conversations on energy access and inclusive market systems. His work focuses on building scalable infrastructure that makes distributed solar energy commercially viable across emerging economies.
