Prior to joining Google Cloud, Abdul Rahman had a successful 25-year career with Oracle. He began his tenure at Oracle in 1996 as the Sales Director for Saudi Arabia and eventually rose to the position of Senior Vice President for the Middle East, Africa, Eastern, and Central Europe.Throughout his career, Abdul Rahman has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive business growth through innovative approaches. He has also played a key role in several capacity-building initiatives within and outside Oracle.Abdul Rahman has made contributions to Cloud Infrastructure in the MEA region. During his tenure at Oracle, he played a pivotal role in launching Cloud regions in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and South Africa. Subsequently, upon joining Google Cloud, he continued his success by contributing to the launch of Cloud regions in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and SouthAbdul Rahman is a strong advocate for women's empowerment and was selected as an executive member of Oracle's Global Women Leadership. He has also served as an executive board member of the Young Arab Leaders (YAL) group and is a member of the Sawa'ed mentoring program of the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation.Abdul Rahman has been recognized as one of the top executives in the Middle East by Forbes Middle East magazine for several consecutive years. He holds an Executive Master's degree in International Business from the University of Edinburgh.Abdul Rahman is married to Lamya, and they have four children: Njoud, Saud, Haya, and Noura.
