Nalla Karunanithy is the CEO of Digital Health & Omnichannel at Aster DM Healthcare, based in Dubai, UAE. With over 15 years of experience in digital and technology leadership, Nalla has driven digital transformations across a variety of sectors, including retail, banking, real estate, and healthcare, with experience spanning Australia, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. He notably spearheaded the launch of the region’s first unmanned grocery store, autonomous warehouses, the region's first ad tech, and leading omnichannel experiences. At Aster, Nalla leads the digital strategy, driving healthcare innovation by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as AI, machine learning, and data analytics. His focus is on revolutionizing patient care by delivering seamless, patient-centric digital experiences, from virtual consultations to personalized wellness journeys via the MyAster app. Nalla’s work is designed to enhance healthcare access, improve outcomes, and streamline processes across the Aster ecosystem, including delivering a superior customer experience in Aster Pharmacy Omnichannel. With a strong entrepreneurial background, Nalla has previously held leadership roles at McKinsey & Company, Rocket Internet, and Majid Al Futtaim.
