Hammad Albalawi is an experienced leader in the sports and tourism sectors committed to serving Saudi Arabia’s remarkable transformation as part of Vision 2030. He led the successful Saudi FIFA World Cup 2034 bid, guiding a team that earned the highest FIFA bid evaluation score in history.
Previously, as Assistant Deputy Minister for Strategic Planning & Investment at the Ministry of Sport, he helped shape the National Sports Strategy and led sports privatization efforts. Earlier, he served as General Manager of Tourism Investment at the Ministry of Tourism, playing a key role in developing the National Tourism Strategy. He was also formerly the Director of Business Development at the General Entertainment Authority.
A former A.T. Kearney consultant, he holds a finance degree from George Washington University.
