Dr. Mohammed Alshamrani

Dr. Mohammad Alshamrani, a Business Development Director in Healthcare at STC, focusing on developing strategies, building capabilities, creating concepts, and designing solutions in areas such as digital health, e-health, digital health systems, and AI in healthcare. With over 20 years of experience, he has worked in both clinical and leadership roles, including his time with the Riyadh Second Health Cluster (R2) at the Ministry of Health (MoH). In his later years at MoH, Mohammad was assigned to Public Private Partnerships (PPP) and Private Sector Participation (PSP) projects within the R2 Transformation Management Office Business Unit. Mohammad is interested in using technologies like AI and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) to enhance patient care and the patient journey. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Southampton and a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds.
