Deputy Minister for International Relations at the Ministry of Investment MISA in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Deputy CEO of the Saudi Investment Promotion Authority SIPA. She has 24 years of experience in Managerial Banking, Military Contracting, Public Diplomacy and International Collaborations for international companies and government organizations in the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to her role at the Ministry of Investment. Miss. Al Sayed held the position of Deputy Minister for Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she oversaw departments of inter-religious dialogue, parliamentary affairs, cultural affairs and media for the ministry. She also held the position of Assistant Deputy Minister for International Collaborations, at the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2019, and had assumed the position of Director General of International Cooperationstwo years prior to that. During her 10 years in the Ministry of Health, where she managed collaborations with international entities (Governments, Organizations and Businesses) in the health field. This includes global files in health, such as the G20 Health profile in addition to WHO related programs and initiatives. She also manages international media outreach, which included facilitation of availability of health indicators and highlighting KSA achievements in healthcare globally. Prior to this, she was the Country Manager for Houston Methodist Global (International arm of Houston Methodist Hospital), where she provided consultancy services in various areas within healthcare for key institutions within the kingdom. She had also managed International Collaborations at the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital KAAUH within the Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University Campus PNU, in Riyadh. This included building Partnerships with various institutions internationally, in addition to structuring the collaborations process within KAAUH and facilitating Legal and business transactions. During her 15 years in Washington DC, she has assumed the position of a Contract Officer at the Armed Forces office of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia. A position she had carried for three years, and that included high-level communications and liaising between the US Government and the Ministry of Defense in Saudi Arabia. She has also carried various managerial positions within the banking industry in the US for over 12 years. Her extensive experience included areas of Personal Banking, Business & Commercial Banking, Mortgage Banking, Portfolio Management, Audit, Insurance, and Risk Management. She was also selected to Lead Acquisitions and Mergers of various institutions. Her areas of expertise include Project Management, Organizational Development, Strategic and Business Planning. Ms. Al Sayed carries a Bachelor’s Degree of Science with a concentration in Health Systems Management form the George Mason University GMU in Washington DC. In addition, has completed three years of an Undergraduate Degree in the field of Physical Therapy from the King Saud University KSU in Riyadh, which she had then transferred to GMU.
