Shiv Khemka

Shiv is the Vice Chairman of SUN Group and leads the group’s activities in Advanced Technology Investments, focusing on areas such as Quantum, Artificial Intelligence, Solid-State Batteries and other emerging technologies. He is also the Executive Chairman of The Global Education and Leadership Foundation (tGELF), an organization that has trained over 25 million students globally and organized global entrepreneurship initiatives that engaged over 1 million entrepreneurs, with rewards totaling USD 1 billion. Currently, Shiv serves as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors at Junior Achievement Worldwide and is a member of the Leadership Council at the Brookings Centre for Universal Education. For over two decades, he served on the Board of Overseers of the Wharton School. He is also on the board of the Lauder Institute and the Centre for the Advanced Study of India (CASI) at the University of Pennsylvania, and has served on both Brown University’s and Yale University’s President’s Councils on International Activities. Additionally, he is a member of the Asia Society Policy Institute’s Global Council and has served on the board of the Stanford Philanthropy and Civic Society (PACS) center. Recognized as a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum, Shiv has been honored with the Dr. Jean Mayer Global Citizenship Award from Tufts University, the Outstanding Contribution to Education Prize at Wharton, and the India Alumni Award from the Wharton School of Business. He was conferred a black belt by the Japanese Aikido Federation and currently serves as chairman of the Aikido Aikikai Federation of India. Shiv studied at Eton College, earned a BA in economics from Brown University, and received an MBA/MA with distinction from the Wharton School of Business and the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. He speaks seven languages, including Russian and Portuguese.
