Tahaluf, the organisers of LEAP, the world's most attended technology event, today announced that LEAP 2026 will open its doors on 31 August, running through 3 September 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham, Riyadh, marking the event's fifth anniversary and bringing the global AI and technology community together for what is set to be the most significant edition in the event's history.
Following direct consultation with its global community of investors, partners, entrepreneurs, and AI and technology leaders, LEAP 2026 has been purposefully shaped around the needs and ambitions of the global innovators and thinkers to leap humanity forward. The September timing reflects clear and consistent feedback from across the LEAP community, confirming early September as the optimal window for maximum international participation, active deal-making, and meaningful engagement between global capital and Saudi Arabia's rapidly expanding AI and technology ecosystem.
LEAP 2026 will build on the momentum of an event that has welcomed more than 200,000 attendees from over 180 countries in just four years, establishing Riyadh as a global hub for AI, technology, and investment, bringing together founders, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders to build what comes next. This ambition is backed by the continued strength of Saudi Arabia's technology ecosystem, since LEAP's first edition, the Kingdom's digital economy has grown to $139 billion, representing 16% of GDP, while venture capital investment has surpassed $1.72 billion, placing Saudi Arabia first in the region for the third consecutive year.
"LEAP has always been about bringing the world's most ambitious minds together to leap humanity forward," said Annabelle Mander, Executive Vice President at Tahaluf. "LEAP 2026 will be the most ambitious edition we have ever produced. We are building a program and a platform that matches the pace of change in AI and technology, and the scale of Saudi Arabia's global ambition. We cannot wait to welcome our community back to Riyadh."
Further announcements regarding speakers, investment forums, partners, and programme highlights will be revealed in the coming months as preparations continue for what is set to be the largest and most impactful edition of LEAP to date.
